band members are Chris Reynolds Guitar, Keyboards and Vocals, Jerry Gosser Lead Guitar, Kevin Hancock Bass Guitar and Vocals, Denis Rife Percussion, Tony Ferguson alias (Fat Fergy) Lead Vocals and Acoustic Guitar, last but not least their faithful sound and light man Larry Queen. Desert Star song list includes southern rock, classic rock, metal and original music. 

1990 Desert Star debuted on Dayton's Wtue Homegrown Album with song "Sweet Baby". another big highlight for Desert Star is when they opened for the southern rock all-stars in 2004 with greats like Jimmy Farrar and the late great Jackson Spires (Thunderfoot). dedicated to keep on rockin is the bands motto so put on your dancin shoes and hold on tight because Desert Star is gonna shine tonight!.
